It’s not how you begin, but how you finish…

June, 2009

First and foremost, today the world has suffered a great loss with the untimely passing of Michael Jackson, arguably the greatest entertainer of all time.   We extend our prayers to the entire Jackson family – and we thank you for being such a driving inspiration in the lives of so many.

But even before this tragic news; today was already painful as we were forced to further delay Alto’s much anticipated opening.  As I wrote in my previous post, we are committed to a non-negotiable standard of excellence, and while I am elated to report that we are oh so close, we simply could not resolve issues rooted in UK customs and excise in time.

On behalf of Alto London, I wish to thank all of you for your understanding and patience.  We are electing to open next Wednesday, the 1st of July, and we see it as a fitting turning point for a challenging 2009!   Rest assured, we will be worth the wait!

We will warm-up with a one-hour Canapes and Drinks reception at 10PM, and turn up the volume from 11PM onward!   Dress code is Smart & Glamorous, and you are encouraged to make booking enquires at RSVP & Bookings.

Here’s to ushering in “Act II of 2009” together!

Sincerely,

Fraser Donaldson, Managing Director

Alto London Opening delayed to June 25th

June, 2009

Dear Members and Patrons,

Alto London has made a commitment to excellence that forces us to set back our Grand Opening by one week – to the 25th of June.   You will soon see for yourself that our extraordinary design includes many hand-crafted pieces from distant parts of the world.  Unfortunately, some of these have been late in arrival, and we felt it prudent to adjust our timeframe accordingly.

Simply put, we have not come this far to provide you with an opening below the standard we have set,  and we trust that you’ll understand when you experience this for yourself!

While it pains me to announce a delay, I want to personally assure you that we will be 100% ready by the 25th.  On behalf of our staff and shareholders, I thank you for your understanding, and eagerly look forward to our family without compromise.

Respectfully,

Fraser Donaldson, Managing Director
